Vienna International Music School is a private music institution based in Vienna. We provide structured music education following an annual curriculum and certificate program. Our teaching philosophy combines professionalism with empathy, helping students develop technical mastery, musical understanding, and confidence through consistent, enjoyable learning.
Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Cello Teacher to join our international team. The position includes one-on-one and small-group lessons for children, and occasionally adults, online, as well as at our school locations in the 22nd, 2nd, and 6th districts.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured cello lessons
- Prepare students for internal assessments, competitions, and public performances
- Maintain regular communication with parents and school administration
- Foster a child friendly, motivating, and respectful learning environment
Required Qualifications
- Completed or ongoing Bachelor’s degree in Cello Performance or Music Education (IGP)
- Proven experience in a similar teaching role
- Fluency in both German and English
- Commitment, reliability, and trustworthiness
- Friendly, polite, flexible, and well-organized personality
- Professional appearance and excellent manners
- Confident and experienced in working with young children
