Franz Friedrich Buschmann invented the accordion in 1829.
It is mostly used in popular and folk music, but it began to appear as a solo instrument in classical music in the second half of the twentieth century.
The accordion is a two-part instrument joined together by a bellows. The harmonica’s tone is produced by blowing air from the bellows into a cabin with metal tabs.
Has several registers, and by adjusting them the color of the tone changes.
